McArdle excel at Hockey Pitch Refurbishment for St George’s College

Home to nearly 1100 pupils, prestigious co-educational independent school St George’s Weybridge in Surrey, approached McArdle Sport Tec after discovering that we had refurbished the water-based hockey pitch at HMS Temeraire, Portsmouth through a chance encounter whilst travelling to Brighton on the train.

We were delighted when the college appointed McArdle Sport Tec to carry out remedial foundation works and resurface the existing hockey pitch and training area which is shared with Premier League hockey club “The Old Georgians.”

St George’s College requested a bespoke maroon yarn matching the schools specific brand guidelines. Working with artificial carpet manufacturers TigerTurf, our team created the bespoke coloured yarn to create these iconic and one of kind run off areas with the addition of the school’s emblem.
