BATH RFC

FARLEIGH HOUSE, HOME OF BATH RUGBY FOOTBALL CLUB’S TRAINING GROUND, APPOINTED MCARDLE SPORT TEC TO CONSTRUCT A NEW ARTIFICIAL RUGBY PITCH.

We were very pleased to have been involved in the construction of a new artificial rugby pitch at Farleigh House. The new 3G Turf pitch was to be a great addition to Bath Rugby Club’s existing training facilities.

The project brief was to design and build a Wordl Rugby Ref 22 (Previously known as IRB) certified artificial rugby pitch. To enable this , we carefully selected TigerTurf’s Total Turf 65mm 3G turf carpet, which was laid upon an engineered macadam pitch base and a 15mm in-situ shock pad.

Our team completed the construction within the given 10 week contract period, and within the specified budget.

This Artificial Turf Rugby Pitch was overseen by the specialist sports pitch consultants, STRI.

FINISHED PRODUCT LOOKS SUPERB

“We were given the task of creating a 3G pitch to add to the training facilities of Bath Rugby Club here at Farleigh House. McArdle Sport Tec gave us a very competitive quotation and despite challenging terrain and weather conditions completed the job within the agreed time scale. Everyone agrees that the finished product looks superb! We were very impressed with the whole team ably led by David Darnell.”
